We will have several presentations: Black walnut cultivation; The Spotted Lanternfly: What you need to know and how we are fighting the invasion; Growing Pawpaws; and Truffles on hazelnut roots. In the afternoon we will tour the fruit and nut orchard of Ted Daniecki in near-by Jobstown, New Jersey.
Registration is $20.00 per person and includes your choice of lunch. Please send a check or money order, payable to NYNGA, to Jim Darling, NYNGA Registrar, 1300 Spring Street Extension, Groton, NY 13073-8711. Indicate your choice of lunch: Cheesesteak, Junior Reuben sandwich, Shrimp salad plate, Cheese omelet, Hamburger, or Vegetable salad with cranberries and walnuts.
The Budget Inn is offering a group rate of $60.00 (plus tax) for Friday night, April 26. The motel is across the street from the Garden State Diner. Car pooling and room sharing requests or other questions can be directed to Jerry Henkin, sproutnut@aol.com, (914) 282-1371.

Anyone interested in nut trees is welcome to attend! The meal is a covered dish style. Drinks, paper goods, and plasticware provided. Bring chairs just in case. There will also be an auction for the benefit of the PNGA. Bring prepared foods, fresh fruit, nuts, seedlings, tools, and any item you wish to donate to the PNGA.

At our booth, we will be selling shelled and unshelled nut varieties: pecan (toasted and seasoned available), hazelnut, black walnut, english walnut, hickory, and heartnut. Nut crackers are also available for purchase. The booth is located in the marketplace section of the main hall. Be sure to pick up a map at the farm show to guide you to our location.
Admission is free. Parking is $15 in all Farm Show Complex operated lots.
