I would like to plant nut trees. I do not wish to start with bare root trees. I would like to buy trees older than that. I live in Virginia and am willing to travel to pcik up the trees. Do you know a sourco of older nut trees.

Rodney, Virtually all nut trees are planted as bare root trees. The transplant success rate is very high plus most nut tree nurseries will either replace free of charge or at half price. Balled and burlapped and potted trees are quite expensive to ship.
The closest dependable nut tree nursery is in Kentucky. I recommend:
